Le Somail

Le Somail is an enchanting hamlet along the Canal du Midi, in the Aude region of France. It is filled with history, magic and charm, and attracts tourists from all over the world.

For such a tiny hamlet, it has a huge amount to offer!

* an amazing bookshop
* electric boats to hire on the canal
* a sweet little clothes boutique
* shop selling local art and crafts
* a floating epicerie (little grocery shop on a barge)

It’s 16th century stone bridge over the canal, along with its ‘ice house’ and small chapel are a real glimpse into a time in history when Le Somail was a bustling port.

When you come for a Reiki session, you are in the perfect location. You can relax in a beautiful setting afterwards, and easily spend the rest of the day enjoying nature, history, a lovely walk or meal, or canal side drink, watching the slow motion boats go by!

Treatment room

I would be happy to welcome you to my treatment room in my home in Le Somail, Aude. I take great care in creating and maintaining, a calm, serene ambiance that is conducive to healing.

I want you to feel as comfortable and at home as possible.

I sometimes light candles, or incense, play relaxing music, although some clients prefer silence.

I have blankets and pillows for you to feel physically comfortable. And my massage table can alter so that you can be more upright if lying flat on your back is not comfortable. Or we can sit together on the settee.
